This release date deadline comes from Ubisoft. She said that while the development was in full swing, Ubisoft Singapore needed more time to answer critical questions like "how do we modernize the classic pirate fantasy? How do we ensure a more immersive and visceral experience? How do we create cool and memorable moments in-game?" Following numerous delays and hold-ups, the Skull and Bones release date is confirmed for the current fiscal year, so will set sail before March 2024. The last time we heard anything about the game was last year, thanks to an update by creative director, Elisabeth Pellen.
